About Sandrine Kake
Sandrine Kaké is a dedicated social impact leader, humanitarian, and the founder of the DAKS Foundation. Raised in rural Cameroon, she experienced firsthand the challenges of limited access to clean water and basic services. These early experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to empowering underserved communities.
In 2018, Sandrine established the DAKS Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on improving access to clean water, education, and healthcare in rural areas of Cameroon. Under her leadership, the foundation has delivered five water fountains, including its first electric water fountain in 2024, transforming the lives of over 5,000 individuals.
Currently based in Mirabel, Quebec, Sandrine balances her philanthropic work with her role as a regulatory affairs professional. Her innovative projects have gained international recognition and support, including partnerships with Nanaimo Quarterway School in British Columbia and the Gloria Baylis Foundation in Toronto.
Sandrine believes in the power of community-driven solutions to address global challenges. She also founded Moms in Shape in Mirabel whose mission is to help moms of her community to stay active through physical and social activities. Her work embodies a commitment to creating opportunities where they are needed most, ensuring a healthier and brighter future for generations to come.
